Feel & Release -- more coaches in the making!
Soon, moving on to another chapter in a horsewoman's life . . . .
Coaching others in horse handling and riding is the main reason for my life, and so it has been since 1965.
This year, I held fewer clinics than usual to accommodate a shift from public coaching to full-focus on the needs and goals of interns and apprentices who hope to carry on the Bill Dorrance Feel & Release Legacy in their own best way.
My heartfelt thanks for the successful events during 2014 is extended with gratitude to the following people:
Cape Cod, MA Ginny Parker / Whispering Cowgirl
Rexford, NY Union College, Aude Bechu / Double E Farm
Atwater, CA Shawna Dahl and Lisa and Tony Krogh / Krogh Ranch
Roseburg, OR Joyce and Art Redcay and Rusty Pistol Ranch, Stan and Linda D. Young, Heather Barklow
Duluth, MN Dr. Pajunen and Leah Nelson
Ashland, WI The Equestrian Coop and David Onan / Jason and Emily Saffert
Österbymö, Sweden www.kalvefalls.se / Olle Forsell, Åsa and Peter
Korumdalen, Räkkestad, Norway / Anja and Dan Guerrera
Gröndahl, Sweden / Annika Järvinen and Family
Jüllich, Germany / Marie Massman and Family / Meike Böttcher / Ilja van der Kasteele and Anna Klocke
Without your help many horses and people would not have had the chance to understand, in greater depth, the philosophy and techniques associated with the “feel and release” approach to horse handling-and-riding that Bill Dorrance was actually referring to in “True Horsemanship Through Feel” (1999). I am grateful to each person, and their respective support teams, who committed scarce time and other resources to host these wonderful events.
The upcoming clinic in Tarrega (Llaida) SPAIN on November 1-2, 2014 is the last event in my career as a public coach. I will return to private coaching and nearly full-time writing and video production at the conclusion of the upcoming apprenticeship program.
The 2015 - 2017 apprenticeship program will be held at ten venues in the US, CANADA and EUROPE. I will coach intermediate-advanced riders and trainers from many different backgrounds and disciplines. Candidates for the program may request registration applications by sending complete contact details here:

Thanks again to everyone who has helped me to help horses, and those who are loving and caring for them, over the last 45 years.
Best wishes,
