Rider Fee: $20 for the Clinic.
Beginning on Thursday, March 28, 2013, from 6:00 - 9:30 PM Leslie will explain the philosophy of "Feel & Release" and demonstrate the techniques Bill Dorrance shared with her to help the owners of 2 horses that have different characters, abilities, coping skills, and challenges. The demonstrations are 90-minutes long. There will be a break for refreshments and Q&A between the two horses.
Auditors 21 and under are welcome at this event, at no charge. Please inform your local county Horsemen's Assoc. Youth Leaders, 4-H groups, Pony Club Leaders about this unique opportunity for tomorrow's young trainers and riders to learn from Leslie Desmond March 28 - 30, 2013 at Stone Tree Acres.
Through her work with riders and horses at the clinic, she will demonstrate the value that feel & release has in gentling and raising colts and starting young horses under saddle, for pleasure or performance, without struggles and frustration! This approach is a good way to keep the young horses' minds ready to learn more, and accept a fair presentation so the goals of trail riding, showing, and development of a safe riding partners are within reach!

Thursday Night Demonstration - Space for 2 horses / $200 per horse. Please confirm space availability with Ginny or Jason before making your payment!
This seminar is perfect for riders of all levels.
As needed, horse owners will be coached in "leading-partner" and horse handling skills that include:
- standing still for grooming and hoof-care
- leading and tying
- trailer loading (as needed)
- mounting and dismounting in a way that does not cause the horse to become imbalanced
- upward and downward transitions / from the ground and to the saddle!
- development of a soft feel on the lead rope and reins with light hands
- getting to Yes! with a difficult horse!
