Refund Policy: If the clinic is cancelled by Leslie Desmond 100% of the fees will be returned. Cancellations for any and all other reasons are 50% refundable.
Horses of all breeds and intermediate - advanced riders from all disciplines are welcome to participate. This year the clinic format is changing to include one-on-one coaching session of 90-minutes duration, plus spaces for up to 5 demonstration horses. Local sponsors are helping to make this unique learning event possible -- at "hard times" rates!

"A person can learn how to set any horse up to succeed using 'feel and release'", according to Desmond. "Horses understand it immediately because it is their language." Leslie co-authored the classic horse training manual, 'True Horsemanship Through Feel' with horseman and rancher, Bill Dorrance of Salinas, CA (1906 - 1999). Leslie will demonstrate and explain how to release your horse to any maneuver using Feel & Release Techniques that were shown and taught to Leslie during her 4-year apprenticeship Bill Dorrance.
FEES:
Auditors welcome at $45 daily or $135 for all for days.
(Note to Juniors! Leslie welcomes kids, teens and young adults under 21 years of age to all US clinics at no charge.)
Riders Fee:
$475 for 3 90-minutes private sessions from Friday -Sunday, October 11-13.
Demo Horses: $450 for 4 90-minute sessions from Thurs - Sun, October 10 - 13.
Single session $175 demo horse is available on Thursday afternoon.
This approach to coaching riders and training horses requires no special equipment and avoids the use of fear or force.
