Riders who bring the equipment below will be shown how to use these useful articles properly.

The correct use and fitting of nosebags, figure 8 hobble, picket hobble, and cruppers will be demonstrated/taught to anyone who brings them.

The first day, Leslie will introduce and demonstrate how "FEEL & RELEASE" can be used to overcome many challenges that riders face in new territory. The whole group will learn how to manage well on terrain where erosion, obstacles, weather and other circumstances have altered the navigable landscape. Horses and owners will be introduced and evaluated for the trail challenges that the riders want to master.

      - If you reach Lobitos Creek Rd you've gone about 0.8 miles too far

Leslie will show how to establish clear communication and prepare each team to coordinate the timing and positioning of the horse's feet so for the best possible outcome on new terrain.

 

Auditors will have the opportunity to ask questions and participate in the discussions.
